More Frosty musings
Now I really wish I'd kept the egregious Frost hedline for posterity. Today, the DMN issues a glowing endorsement of Frost.
I'd love to know what happened here. The hedline and the lede were SO over the top.
I chalk it up to Dolly Parton syndrome.
Disclaimer: As stated before, I have no vote in Frost/Sessions '04. That said, given the opportunity, I would vote for Sessions. That sentiment was solidified by seeing Frost speak bleat at an event yesterday.
UPDATE: Just to prove that I didn't dream the existence of the original anti-Frost slant, here's the current hedline and lede:
Candidates spar over 'clean campaign pledge'
Sessions, Frost both say other side isn't abiding by April promise
11:42 PM CDT on Monday, October 18, 2004
Reps. Martin Frost and Pete Sessions are reneging on a "clean campaign pledge" they signed in April by not formally and publicly denouncing a Democratic organization for spending tens of thousands of dollars in Texas' 32nd Congressional District.
