Reading younger readers

Interesting stuff in the WSJ (reg. req) re: how book publishers are trying to reach thirtysomethings. As usual, Jon Stewart is at the epicenter.

A step behind them are the "echo boomers," profiled on last night's 60 Minutes. If you buy the demographers' arguments (which can be dangerous), these are a bunch of spoiled sheep who expect to have every whim catered to, and instantly. They're also huge consumers of information, as they spend very little time in an analog world.

I wonder how many of them read the newspaper?
