Had some interesting conversations on serendipity yesterday [section redacted -- irrelevant]. I know there's no stats to back this up, but sometimes, when something's "right," people seem to pop up in the right place at the right time.
[section redacted -- irrelevant] And, turns out that he knows an old friend of mine here in town, who was a sales rep for their group, whom I've been trying to track down to get involved in our merry little band.
Thinking back a week or so, I re-found an old pal who is now our CFO through similar serendipitous circumstances. I invited my YPO chapter to an event [section redacted -- irrelevant]. One of them brought his lawyer, who I knew from the bachelor days, but whom I only knew via the aforementioned pal. He reconnected us and the rest is (recent) history.
