Roadtrip!
Team Pegasus is going on a roadtrip to meet with our development team, so no new posts here until at least Saturday.
In the meantime, here's something to discuss in the comments:
In a totally science fiction world, without constraints of current technology --
What one piece of information about your neighborhood (that you can't get now) would you most love to be able to find with a single mouseclick?
Would like to know when a criminal moves into my neighborhood and where sex offenders live.

I'd like to be able to get comps on home prices so I can fight the appraisal district's tax hikes without having to go through a realtor.

I'd like an update on the long-promised pocket park that was supposed to be put in our neighborhood shortly after we (and many of our fellow Uptown condo owners) moved to the State-Thomas area. The most recent update I can find online through Google is an article on a realtor's website from March 2004.

I always want to know about any incidences of crime, vandalism, etc.

Great question. Right now it would be tax information. After we fight this battle, it would be neighborhood crime info.

Bruce:
Are you answering the question, or talking about our roadtrip?
;P

Heh...as Orr used to say, 'When it affects me, I'll do something about it.'
But seriously, folks...the lil podunk paper I currently have sold myself to runs pretty extensive police report listings...some of it's truly ridiculous, people reporting $5 stolen...nevertheless, it's in the record, so it's as legit as it can be....and I read it every day. If something happens near me, it's kind of a drumbeat. I pay attention. Talk about affecting home values!

I want to know which grocery store has the cheapest tomatoes -- taking into account the distance (i.e. gas consumption) that each grocery store is from my apartment.
